Proof in a Single Sentence That Guns Don't Kill People, Gun Control Kills People

This brilliant find by The Mental Recession blog is terribly brutal and makes my heart ache for the victims, but also incredibly illustrative:
Tucked away in a Huffington Post article about the motivation behind the horrific shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, is this statement (h/t Ben Howe):

"The dead included temple President Satwant Singh Kaleka, who was shot as he tried to fend off the shooter with a butter knife."
If I could go back in time and hand the man my own firearm so he could defend himself against his maniacal assailant, I would.  No human should ever be left to defend his life and his loved ones with a butter knife.  It's inhumane.  It's disgusting.  It's a violation of the unalienable right of self-defense.  And it's the reality gun control advocates would force on every one of us.
